Qazaq Society Teams Up with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Belgium for a Friendly Football Match with FUTI Ahead of the Kazakhstan–Belgium Game
Members of the Qazaq Society, together with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Belgium, organized a friendly football match with the FUTI (KU Leuven Student Association Football Team) team on the embassy grounds. The event was honored by the presence of His Excellency Roman Vassilenko, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Belgium, who delivered an inspiring speech wishing the players success and officially launched the match with a ceremonial first kick.
Amirlan Nurbalin, President of the Qazaq Society, noted that the initiative was held in anticipation of the upcoming national team match on November 15, where Kazakhstan will face Belgium. “We wanted to show our support, unite our community, and bring the excitement of football closer to our youth and students,” he said.
FUTI Vice President Sarosh Sultan also expressed his gratitude to the Qazaq Society and the Embassy for the warm collaboration and praised the spirit of friendship demonstrated throughout the event. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in bringing together diverse communities through sports and fostering long-term partnerships.
The event fostered cultural connection, strengthened community spirit, and highlighted the Qazaq Society’s active role in promoting Kazakh culture and unity across Europe.
